Dangerous When Wet Label: Div 4.3 contains substances which, in contact with water, emit flammable gases (e.g calcium carbide). They need to be carried in watertight containers – some are carried under paraffin, grease or in tanks under an inert gas blanket. In enclosed vehicles they can be affected by condensation.
PG I is ascribed to any substance that gives off gas and immediately ignites or where the rate of evolution of gas exceeds a set amount (10 litres per kg of substance in any one minute). PG II or III is ascribed when the evolution rates exceeds limit values.
We provide Class 4.3 Labels (Dangerous When Wet labels) at 100mm on rolls of 250, and as single cut labels at 100mm, 200mm and 250mm sizes. All are fully compatibe with IATA/ ICAO, UN ADR/RID and IMDG/IMO requirements.
