Div 4.3 contains substances which, in contact with water, emit flammable gases (e.g calcium carbide). They need to be carried in watertight containers – some are carried under paraffin, grease or in tanks under an inert gas blanket. In enclosed vehicles they can be affected by condensation.
PG I is ascribed to any substance that gives off gas and immediately ignites or where the rate of evolution of gas exceeds a set amount (10 litres per kg of substance in any one minute). PG II or III is ascribed when the evolution rates exceeds limit values.

Fantastic communication, the order was queried as it is a non-standard item and it was further flagged that I had made an error adding double required quantity to the basket which was over their stock limit. My mistake fixed by your amazing people!
Excellent service, I ordered on line but then had to ring up and check something the person I spoke to was very helpful and the items came as promised.
